2. United just aren’t any good anymore, United fans are going to have to come to terms with it. Last season was a high point.

3. interesting what Gary said about Old Trafford and the training ground, I went to both in the early-mid 90s my dad was a man united fan, both were by far the best in England, Old Trafford was better than Wembley which okay was falling down, but nowhere else was even close in terms of facilities, they set the standard for everyone else. By the sounds of it the Glazers just stopped when they took up the reigns and all the other clubs have caught up and passed them by, seems like a metaphor for the football too.

   Before Klopp Liverpool's recruitment was similar, people forget they spent loads but didn't get anywhere. It's the culture at man united if you are there you will be paid more and that's about it, there is no hunger to do the hard stuff for success.

   They should introduce a cap-like man city did with their recruitment of players and get ones that actually want to play and win as opposed to those that are just there for the inflated salary.

16. Neville complaining about the Glazers is hilarious. Business owners are always in it for a profit. Just ask him about the profits he makes off his football club and hotel businesses.

    The issue is with the recruitment and lack of character from the players. United have spent more than enough – if they were successful the focus wouldn’t be on the Glazers at all.
