  1. Can someone explain to me how on earth you could leave Paul Scholes out. He is right up there with the best players England have ever produced and for me the easiest decision of the 11 positions

  2. Great comments about Ince. Hell of a player. Hell of a competitor. Massive big game performer. A fighter and a winner. Don’t underestimate Incy. He picks on class and delivery. Same with Pallister- boss of a player.

  3. De Gea – Parker – RIO – Vidi – Evra – Keane – Scholes – Sharpe – Sheringham – Cantona – Van Nistelroy ** This team beats Roy's all day long.

  4. I love the Beckham comments those of us who watch the game unlike thos damn Americans who judge him on international level KNOW HOW GOOD THAT MAN was he wasn't a world beater but at what he could he was the best at at his time IMO

  5. No Roy, you choose between Robson and Ince (I agree Ince is underrated though), so you can play Scholes – Scholes is the first name on any Man Utd team sheet. I just can’t believe you left him out? Wow… Zidane said he was the best player he’d ever seen. Can’t leave out Scholes, my god man, what are you doing?!? Also Nicky Butt was always underrated. He was a top class holding player – maybe too soon for that type of player here. Now we have holding players but back then we didn’t really – it was always felt that Butt didn’t have enough going forward.

  6. I love Roy but his attitude goalkeepers is disappointing, they don't get a lot of praise they get completely under appreciated. Hardly anyone talks about Buffon.

  7. This is sad…UTD had culture that has been lost, the spark. Get it together united…come out of retirement if needed SAF. This is sad at this point. City fan …miss a good derby.

It feels like they are lost and have no direction…who in their youth academy is that guy, send him up. Have they no potential difference maker in the pipeline to mix up the status quo?

I don't see them in the CPL anytime soon. New Castle is coming and will soon be a top 4 contender in years to come. Chelsea was just purchased. Arsenal is getting back to form. Tottenham will continue to be in the top 4 battle with Content the helm and an attack with Kane Son and Lloris who is decent.

  8. Keane talks about 'giving everything for the cause' and thats exactly whats missing at Man U and many other top clubs nowadays. For Keane the cause is the pride of wearing that shirt and the fans that trust you with it. A reason to go out and play is not enough as you need a cause to go to war. Having a cause means you leave everything on the pitch after the 90 minutes and Keane done that be example week in, week out. The duty of a captain is to get the very best out of the players around you and nobody done that better than Keane, not even close. They say that nobody is indispensable, well I think many Man U fans might argue that was not the case with Keane. Just to add, I am not a Man U fan, indeed not a Keane fan in some respects, but him on the pitch is a different story. Incredible.

  9. This is the times in nutshell
Back then it was about hard work and giving all on training pitch and in the game. Respect to elder players and looking up to them and get experience. Nedvěd, Pirlo, Keane, Maldini. Hardworking horses with mentality to give their all. First on the training pitch, last from it.
Todays generation is all about flair, fame and likes on social media. Kids with insane wages and zero respect. How pains me to say is it seems Liverpool has the best squad of old school mindset. Overall good guys with working mentality…..complete opposite to likes of Pogba, Neymar or other influencers.
Only one who could bring this both together well is Ronaldo. But that only proves how rare it is and how different these generations are.
